I used to have the LG 3D BLU- RAY 1000W tower home theatre. It had great sound hooked up to my Samsung 55" 4K UHD HDR TV. But this little system has better sound and seems work well with my Samsung TV. Any home theatre that makes you jump, want to get up and go look for something that actually happened on the TV, pulls you into the movie, etc. is great and doing its job well. Oh and my Xbox One X sounds incredible with this. EXAMPLE: I was watching The Others staring Nicole Kidman. I heard the kids running in the movie. The way I have this system setup sounded like the kid's were running across the floor in my apartment.

It was okay, although the subwoofer was disappointing. Suddenly it stopped pairing properly with my Samsung Smart TV. I was troubleshooting it with a Samsung support agent and it stopped working completely. Now I'm told I have to pay to ship it back to Samsung for repairs. It sure seems that Samsung should cover the cost of shipping both ways for repairing something that is still under warranty. That makes the value of this soundbar next to nothing.

Worked great but then stopped working

I had the sound bar for a year and a half and it worked perfectly fine. It exceeded my expectations. The sound was great, the bass was there. And it was easy to use. I had it paired with the SWA wireless rear speakers. One day I turned it on to use it and the sub woofer would not connect to the soundbar. I tried every possible trouble shoot did not have any success. It just sits there now and is unused.

Underwhelming sound

The output of this soundbar is not that great. It is only marginally better than the built in speakers on my Samsung 4k TV. The sub woofer can barely be heard. I think there's more bass coming from the actual soundbar than the woofer itself. You can manually adjust the sub output with the remote, but still you can barely hear any bass at volume 6. Music especially is disappointing through these speakers. Like I said, they are only a bit louder than the built in speakers. Now, the only time this system worth the money is when watching movies. If you're playing a Blu-ray that was mastered with Dolby or DTS, you will get pretty good sound. Action movies especially come through very loud with this system. Other than that you can barely tell that these speakers are even on.

I bought this 1 year and 6 mos ago. It was great a great little device for the price I got it for from Best Buy. Decided to move the bar into another room and it no longer powers on. Really no explanation other that it didn't like being plugged somewhere else.

I was pleasantly surprised by the 200W 2.1 Ch Samsung Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer. The setup was straight forward and the look and feel of both the Soundbar & remote was solid. PROS: Look and feel of the both Soundbar and remote. CONS: The Subwoofer looks out of place compare to the "LOW" profile/shape of the soundbar/speakers.

Bought the sound system around November 2018 worked great over the Holidays... Then around January the Subwoofer was no longer woofing like it use to. You can still hear it but it is not as loud as it used to be.

I bought this and the remote did not work. Contatced Samsung and was told by thier agent it would need to be sent off to be fixed. Sent off. Thats what you want to hear after purchasing a brand new product. So basically I just paid for a product aht I cannot use for 3-6 weeks and hopefully it does not have a continual problem.

There is no bass effects at lower volume levels under 25 so you have to blast the sound to get any noticeable bass even with the settings turned to max. Other wise the soundbar itself has a good quality sound.

It has plenty of bass the sound is crystal clear 5 modes plus surround sound and Bluetooth power and to add to this I recommend getting Dolby Atmos on your Xbox one it's a thunderstorm in your room just from the sound bar and 200 W wireless BASS 6.1 inch you can put anywhere in your room is remarkable and you can add to this surround sound with the 2 wireless rear speakers plus another front speaker to get the full 360 sound witch it already does hands down best of the best I only own Samsung products I would get yours today don't think about it I stand buy this a 100% can't beat the price and the features with it like I said it's a underrated surround sound trust me you will be blow away!!

I just bought this along with the Samsung UN55NU7100FXZA 4K TV at Best Buy. Both Samsung, so you would think they would work well together. The remote is pretty much worthless. I saw no displays in front of the sound bar for the volume like I read about. But the worst part is it was not loud enough. The TV sound is louder. I played around with it for an hour or two and could not get it any louder. Maybe I got a bad one? I already have it packed up and going to return it to Best Buy

Product was easy to install and sounded great. About a week in, it would not power on. Called customer service and it was decided I needed to send it and the power supply cord in for the Warranty repair. I had to repack it, go to UPS pay out of pocket to ship it back to the repair center. Came back to me a week later, minus the the power supply cord. When i called Samsung to let them know, said it would be 5 - 10 days before i can get a replacement. So just be prepared to spend some of your own money if you have an issue.

Spoke to a tech and we walked through it but ended up saying their was some kind of issue and suggested opening a ticket. 3 days later I haven't heard from anyone and just going to take it back to BB

I usually wait awhile for assessment. after 3 weeks after install speakers do not perform well nor pairing is maintained. Contacting customer service became futile with no response. something purchased to improve sound in new samsung tv results only in a waste of money.

The sub-woofer pairs easily with the soundbar, yet the one I have doesn't make a sound. Looking around on the internet, I see that this is a common problem with no solution to be found. Many websites simply tell you to reset the pairing, which is easy enough to do, but often doesn't solve the problem. No one ever posts any other solutions at this point. One guy on youtube fixed his sub-woofer by taking it apart so the chip board could obtain some cooling, but mine never worked, right out of the box. It would be nice if there was some way to bypass the pairing with a direct connection. You could at least rule out a few possibilities for the failure, and at best have a working speaker that's wired to the system.
